The diagnosys must be done whith different enamel hypoplasia, fluorosis and imperfect amelogenesis This has a significant impact in the treatment necesities even in comunities whith low caries activity which make difficult the adhesive techniques and require expensive rehabilitation processes in adults. It’s prevalence varies between 3 and 23.4% and both sexes are affected equally. In our country studies are needed to determine it’s prevalence.
