Abstract

BURON-VIDAL, Miguel. An approach to educational leadership in experiences of artivist dance accompanied pedagogically. Cuad. Investig. Educ. [online]. 2024, vol.15, n.2, e302.  Epub Dec 01, 2024. ISSN 1510-2432.  https://doi.org/10.18861/cied.2024.15.2.3840.

This paper explores the meanings attributed to educational leadership by artivist collectives and those who pedagogically facilitate their activity in socio-community settings. With the aim of analyzing -from a critical and situated intercultural perspective- the meaning of different strategies and leadership styles, we have turned to the voices of the protagonists of these experiences: adolescents and young members of urban dance groups as well as educational figures of reference for these personal and collective processes. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was used based on participant observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires. Some approaches to the inclusive and distributive conceptions of the surveyed leaderships are tested, advancing new meanings and strategic possibilities that could contribute to the reflection and formal and informal educational action.

Keywords : educational leadership; artivism; art activities; dance; intercultural education.
