This paper aims to provide specific answers to the need to introduce emotional education and the teaching of emotions in the primary school stage, using information and communication technologies (ICT) as a working medium. The main objective has been to work on the knowledge and management of emotions of 6th-year Primary School pupils through technology with the ultimate intention of cooperating in the person's integral development. An interactive blog was designed specifically for emotional learning and practice to demonstrate the effectiveness and positive benefits of these arguments and objectives, the basis of the quantitative research presented. The students who made up the study sample came from different educational centers (public, subsidized-private) in the city of Albacete (Spain). The results revealed that girls are more emotionally mature than boys and that students from public schools obtained higher emotional intelligence scores than students from private subsidized schools. In conclusion, the need to implement various emotional education programs in primary schools in order to collaborate in the acquisition of emotional competence and thus achieve full development in pupils is defended.
