OCAMPO, Mario Mauricio. School catholic models and school culture. Pág. Educ. [online]. 2012, vol.5, n.1, pp.55-78. ISSN 1688-7468.

In this article we propose, in fenced form, to present a new way of categorizing catholic schools on the base of a typology constructed by us: that of the school catholic models. To give sustenance to this new conceptual scheme, we will present theoretical elements and empirical evidences gathered in our doctoral thesis that describes the school culture of some institutions that adscribe to diverse school Catholic models of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires attending to the tensions between his religious character and his condition of private schools in the context of an educational market. The conclusions of the same study also will be included in this writing

Keywords : Catholic education; school Catholic models; school culture; social segmentation.
