The objective is to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Partner Forgiveness Scale in a sample of people from Entre Ríos, Argentina, who are in a relationship. The sample was made up of 210 participants aged between 18 and 35 years; 49.5% were women and 50.5% men. The Partner Forgiveness Scale and the Partner Empathy Scale were administered after a Transgression. The internal consistency of the Forgiveness Scale was assessed through Cronbach's Alpha analysis. To confirm its internal validity, an Exploratory Factor Analysis was carried out. Convergent validity was measured with Empathy through Pearson's Correlation. The results indicated very good levels of reliability of the scale. The EFA revealed a three-factor structure. There are statistically significant positive associations between Forgiveness and Empathy. The version of the instrument obtained presents adequate psychometric properties, and can be administered in the Argentine population.
