In this work, we seek to analyze and reflect on the concept and practices of user embracement within the scope of the work of a technical support team in mental health with professionals from the Psychosocial Care Network. We problematize, throughout the text, the relationship between health management and the shared construction of an “user embracement management”. This research is part of the spectrum of participatory research. Participatory observation, the field diary, narrative interviews and discussion groups with professionals were adopted as methodological strategies. We realized that the team sought to build a shared notion of user embracement. In this space of forums and collective constructions, we see the need to think about user embracement management: a clinical-political device constituted by all the actors involved in the arduous process of user embracement, in its entirety, based on the construction of collective strategies and health production networks.
