The present work proposes a discussion about heteronormativity in the school, considering the context of controversies and practices produced between participants of the “Movimento Escola Sem Partido” and the movement of occupation of schools occurred in Brazil in 2016. We discuss the last movement from interviews with participants of the occupation of a public school in the municipality of Canguçu (RS), at a time after its completion. The following of controversies regarding heteronormativity in the school is carried out from the perspective of elaborating an ethical practice, understood as competence and expertise to be developed and improved in an incorporated way, articulating reflective and pre-reflective knowledge. For this, we approach the theme, indicating the relevance of a narrative policy that makes possible the amplification of the virtuality of oneself and of the school collective.
