Abstract

The article is based on a research about the meanings that the researcher gives to college research.  We will take, on this occasion, one of the edges of the analysis of the investigation that has to do with an aspect that emerged from the work field: the place of the group dimension of the work as a space in which issues that relate to the desire for personal projects of the professors, and the organizational political and institutional aspects of the creation of knowledge. It is in the Group when we can observe the dissatisfaction or suffering in academic activities. The field work and analysis of the results were from a theoretical perspective with anchor in a psychoanalytic approach and psychosocial, trying to account for the complexity that means the University institution a   s symbolic, imaginary and subjective production space. Finally, we analysed the results of regarding the group dimension we extract the collected meanings, whereas the impact of last University reform and research in collective management models.
