Abstract

Abstract   The present article has the purpose of discuss about contemporary violence. To be able to do it, we consider two concepts we resumed contribute to the reflection on the subject: the concept of Culture Industry of frankfurtians Theodor W. Adorno and Max Horkheimer and the discourse elaborated by Jacques Lacan, under the name of Discourse Capitalist. Through analysis of these concepts, clarifying their convergences and divergences, we aim to contribute to clarify a way of locating violence in the contemporary world.
