Abstract

PEREZ, Lis. Political sense of our practices: A community psychology in motion. Psicol. Conoc. Soc. [online]. 2015, vol.5, n.1, pp.222-258. ISSN 1688-7026.

This work of theoretical and methodological review arises under the Psychology Doctoral project, based on the impact of the media in the exercise of citizenship during the 2002 crisis in Uruguay. This socio-economic crisis was an opportunity, to understand new areas of visibility of collective processes of the low voices of history (Guha, 2002) in  the most unequal region in the world. To produce knowledge from the legality that gives me the academy is to consider the political meaning of our practices, otherwise, we are in risk of falling into a functional scientism shown in many forms of domination suffered  by our Indoafroiberoamérica, as called bay the Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes. It is proposed to analyze as inthepublic dimension of the public spaces, lies the potential for the construction of us-other. The intention is to deepen institutional interstices of postindustrial modernity and how it contributes to community psychology in motion. The Community Social Psychology works for social transformation, but the struggle for inequity is the struggle of epistemic inequality itself, first is our own decolonization. The aim is to contribute to the epistemology of resistance to build an emancipatory option. Build ourselves from the south that involves the generation of a new perspective that values cultural diversity of Pachakutik where north is the south, as painted the Uruguayan Torres Garcia.
