Abstract

SCHONGUT GROLLMUS, Nicolas. Narrative inquiry and feminist research: methodological possibilities and challenges. Psicol. Conoc. Soc. [online]. 2015, vol.5, n.1, pp.110-148. ISSN 1688-7026.

The aim of this article is to offer a theoretical guideline to understand the use of narrative in a feminist research context. This work tackles the theoretical, epistemological and methodological ground to develop potential proposals for joint research process between narrative perspectives and feminist research, within the context of critical methodologies for qualitative research. For this, the article tackles concepts such as narrativity and reflexivity in research, with the objective of questioning the more traditional perspectives in research, and so to favour the development of new research perspectives in a post-positivist context.

Keywords : Narratives; Feminist research; Qualitative inquiry; Reflexivity.
