Abstract

ABSTRACT: Arch Med Interna 2012 - 34(1):29-32 POEMS Syndrome is an uncommon systemic paraneoplastic disorder characerized by the presence of a sensitive-motor polineuropathy with other manifestations like organo-megalia, endocrinopathy, monoclonal gammopathy and skin changes. We report a case of a 47 years old male with diagnostic criteria for this disorder, with the singularity of presenting a double monoclonal pattern in serum, IgG and IgA class Lambda type, confirmed by isoelectric focusing and immunofixation.
