Abstract

SUMMARY: Arch med Interna 2009 - XXXI;4:113-115 Celiac disease is an autoimmune enteropathy that affects the small intestine in genetically predisposed individuals, precipitated by the ingestion of gluten with multiple predominantly extraintestinal symptoms and signs which delays their diagnosis. Within the hematologic manifestations the bleeding and thrombosis complications are less frequently described in literature. We report the case of a pregnant patient with thrombotic obstetric events and maternal bleeding complications for deficiency vitamin K-dependent factors, which were the presentation form of this disease
