Abstract

The hypercalcemic parathyroid crisis is an unusual clinical presentation of primary hyperparathyroidism, it is characterized by: severe hypercalcemia, renal failure, dehydratation and progressive clouding of consciousness. We analyzed the case of a 64 years old patient who consulted for a depressive episode. The evaluation confirms the diagnostic of parathyroid crisis caused by parathyroid adenoma.
