MARIN RUEDA, Fabián Javier et al. RELATION BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE, LABOR SUPPORT AND ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH IN A SAMPLE OF WORKING STUDENTS. Cienc. Psicol. [online]. 2014, vol.8, n.1, pp.7-16. ISSN 1688-4221.
This study aims to analyze the correlation of instruments designed for the assessment of organizational climate, labor support and organizational health as a form to assess the validity of the organizational climate assessment scale, Escala de Avaliação do Clima Organizacional - CLIMOR (Rueda & Santos, 2011), by comparison to the labor support scale, Escala de Suporte Laboral - ESUL (Baptista, Santos, Noronha & Cardoso, 2008) and a scale of perceived organizational health, Escala de Percepção de Saúde Organizacional - EPSaO (Gomide Jr. & Fernandes, 2008). 334 students of both sexes, who also had a job, 18 to 59 years old (M=25,63; SD=7,80) took part in this study.. The results showed positive correlations ranging from weak to strong magnitude. Additionally, the study showed that those individuals who do not perceive the organizational health of the company where they work, also exhibit a lower perception of the organizational climate. Additional studies with diversified samples aiming at the establishment of further validity evidence on the focused measure will be necessary
