Abstract

BAPTISTA, William  and  RANDO, Karina. MANEJO DEL SANGRADO PERIOPEATORIO EN CIRUGIA Y TRASPLANTE HEPATICO BASADO EN OBJETIVOS. Anest Analg Reanim [online]. 2017, vol.30, n.1, pp.2-27. ISSN 0255-8122.

The "Point of Care" (POC) test, such as thromboelastography, aims to perform a simple and quick diagnosis of the condition of coagulation and allow for rapid prophylactic and therapeutic interventions adapted to the clinical context.

Thromboelastography is an integral part of the programs that propose a multidisciplinary approach for the effective application of measures based on evidence. Itintendsto optimize the volume of transfussions in the patient, to minimize bleeding, and to reduce significantly - or even to suppress -allogenic blood transfusions.

We propose a protocol, based on a non-systematic review of the literature, thatestablishes a reference guide for the prophylaxis and treatment of alterations of blood clotting during perioperative patients undergoing liver surgery and liver transplantation.

Keywords : Thrombelastography; Hepatic surgery; Blood Coagulation time.
