Diaper area dermatitis encompasses a group of diseases with diverse etiologies and very similar clinical presentations, making their analysis sometimes complex. Among them is diaper psoriasis, a characteristic presentation in infants and young children. In this article, we conducted a review of the current literature available on diaper psoriasis, emphasizing its clinical presentation and management. We will also mention some characteristic clinical aspects of other causes of diaper dermatitis in order to differentiate them.
