This document presents an experience in working with teenagers. It has been taking place for three years during part of the summer, and is conducted with an intersectorial approach, involving provincial government agencies, an NGO and social organizations or groups from the city of Rafaela, Santa Fe. The initiative is called “Summer for the young”. The spirit of the proposal is to ensure the right of adolescents to access healthy spaces, recreation and leisure, for them to meet peers as equals, embracing the concept of comprehensive health. “Summer for the Young” takes place during the months of January and February every year since 2013 and about 40 adolescents from different associations or institutions that work with the young have participated already. Recreational activities, sports, proposals to address health topics, workshops and swimming pool, are included. They are considered to be a privileged space to attract this sector of the population.
