Abstract

DAVRIEUX, Mylene et al. Agranulocitosis por dipirona: a propósito de un caso clínico. Arch. Pediatr. Urug. [online]. 2007, vol.78, n.1, pp.35-40. ISSN 1688-1249.

Agranulocytosis is a severe hematologic affection with a mortality rate of 25% approximately. It is due to a variety of drugs being dipirone the most frequently associated in our country. Its diagnosis requires certain preestablished diagnostic criteria and a high level of suspicion. The objectives were to describe a case of a two year old patient, a bibliographic revision of the topic and to promote a more conscious use of the drug.

Keywords :  AGRANULOCYTOSIS;  DIPYRONE-adverse effects.
