We present a clinical case of a 4 month old patient that was diagnosed with multiple renal abscesses during an urinary tract infection caused by Escherichia coli presented as fever without focus. The diagnosis was based on the ultrasonography and abdominal computarized tomography, that showed hipoechoic an hipodenses masses in the renal parenquima. The treatment consisted in antibacterial therapy during five weeks being the evolution favourable obtaining complete resolution of the renal abscesses. Ultrasound scan and computerized tomography were fundamental for the early diagnosis and the follow-up of the efficacy of therapy. The cystourethrography didn’t showed vesicoureteral reflux associated.
