Summary The Kawasaki disease is a multisystem acute febrile vasculitis syndrome, self-limited, the etiology unknown, that appears frequently in children under five years of age, being less common in infants younger than 3 months. The diagnostic is set parting from a compatible clinic chart, associated whit suggestive alterations in the complementary examinations. The treatment consists in the administration of intravenous immunoglobulin and aspirin within the 10 first days of the start of the sintomatology. We present a two month old patient that fulfils all the diagnostic criteria of the disease. The treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin is carried out very soon, being its evolution favourable, without cardiovascular effects so far.Although this disease is not very frequent, it is important to consider it, even in infants < 3 months old, given that start of an early treatment can lessen the incidence of coronary artery aneurysm
