The 40.th Uruguayan Congress of Cardiology was held from May 22 to 24, 2024 at the Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel. National and international experts from different cardiology disciplines provided a varied and enriching update on multiple areas of knowledge. The scientific activity led by the researchers was developed in the form of open theme presentations and clinical cases, as in previous years. We will briefly review some topics selected from the presentations throughout the day, including the results of some very relevant local research that was awarded at the Congress.
