We are transiting the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. It has been recognized that the form of presentation may be with cardiovascular symptoms. We report the first case of a patient admitted to intensive care affected with COVID-19 in Uruguay, who was admitted with cardiovascular symptoms.
