We present a screening protocol for sudden death in sports, of easy application, with the aim of evaluate a high number of individuals in a short period, being able to discriminate those with significant risk of sudden death and perform a complete medical evaluation.

The test, arises from the review of current evidence and the opinion of experts on sudden death, with special analysis of the predictive value of each item, where epidemiological, semiological (questionnaire and physical examination) and electrocardiogram aspects are addressed.

This tool is applicable in scenarios where there is massive participation of individuals without prior evaluation of risk, as in street popular races and amateur football among others, where the possibility of presenting sudden death is latent.
