The present article is a review of the stress testing by placing focus on the recovery phase. Begining with a synthesis of physiological phenomena that occur during this stage, we discuss the complications, mainly arrhythmias, defining their diagnostic and prognostic value. It concludes with a recommendation on when it should end the test
