Abstract

OLIVERA, Andrea. Etnografía decolonial con colectivos charrúas: reflexionando sobre interconocimientos. Antropol. soc. cult. Urug. [online]. 2014, vol.12, pp.139-153. ISSN 1510-3846.

ABSTRACT How to shape, and put into practice, decolonial participative methodology? Drawing on field-work conducted with Charruas associations, this article explores this question following two paths: first, it addresses the challenges faced by the Charruas as emerging political subject. Secondly, it proposes an example of the way to construct ethnographic inter-knowledge. Its main contribution rests in the deeply-rooted reciprocity of the knowledge construction, and the innovative stance proposed on Charrua indigenousness, usually mocked by both academic and political elites and the main public as illegitimate.

Keywords : colaborative ethnography; decolonial option; fieldwork with Charruas associations.
