Resumen

GENDLER, Martín  y  MATOZO, Victoria. Sociability, ties, bonds, and communication in digital platforms at UBA: reflections on the pandemic experience. Rev. Cien. Soc. [online]. 2025, vol.38, n.57, e314.  Epub 01-Dic-2025. ISSN 0797-5538.  https://doi.org/10.26489/rvs.v38i57.1.

This paper presents the results of a research that aimed to deepen the understanding of the role of digital platforms in Argentine university education, during the health emergency of 2020-2021, but also in its aftermath. Based on semi-structured interviews with teachers, the article analyzes the communication between them and with students, exploring the linkage generated.

Among the main findings, it highlights the importance of WhatsApp groups and other platforms as spaces for the formation of ties, in relation to curricular content and outside them, allowing the generation of differential relationships with respect to face-to-face presence at times when this was prevented.

Palabras clave : digital platforms; university; education; pandemic; sociability.
