This paper aims to address a set of relevant considerations built around the relationship between communication and development as a conceptual pair. The empirical references in this article come from various experiences developed in a specific social space, based on the socio-territorial work we provide with workers in the Social Economy (SE) sector. For this reason, it significantly revisits some previous work. Based on the above, we aim to provide a series of categories that allow for the construction of an epistemic approach (Zemelman, 1998) regarding these experiences.
