Professional politicians interfere in the work of representing ‘causes’ understood as urgent as well as in the setting of action repertoires considered to be legitimate. In this article, there will be examinations of profiles and investments by parliamentarians who are native from ‘The Legal Amazon’ and have engaged in the making or management of symbolic goods aimed at ‘issues from the region’. Through the sociography of cases and the analysis of representative trajectories, the purposes are to point out of diversification processes of regional elites; uncover juxtapositions of dominations, rationales and principles of cultural and political hierarchizations; and problematize the emphases of studies from spokespeople and authorized agents of the ‘region’.
