The article aims to advance in the analysis of the characteristics of cognitive labor and the forms of labor management within digital delivery platforms in Uruguay, addressing PedidosYa as a productive unit. It identifies those cognitive jobs that require the mobilization of knowledge to process and design algorithms as well as those that require less mobilization of knowledge, are more repetitive, and less enriching. The research evaluates the differences between different models of work management that are deployed on both work groups, where an assembly between a model of ‘project management’ and a ‘Taylorised algorithmic management’ is characterized.
