Abstract

This article reflects, from the perspective of the sociology of work, on the changes in work and, more specifically, the repercussions on the labor relations system after the pandemic experience, but also its coincidence with a shift to the right of the Uruguayan government. An analysis is proposed, based on the analysis of the positions and decisions taken by the actors in relation to its different stages and its repercussions on the labor relations. Finally, it seeks to identify the aspects that define the new configuration of the labor relations system in the third year of the new government. The article analyzes some emerging topics, such as the strengths and weaknesses of the labor relations system in the crisis's face and reflects about the transformation of labor and its future.
