Abstract

CANCELA ALLIO, Victoria. Digital inequalities in secondary school in a health emergency. A look from inclusive education. Rev. Cien. Soc. [online]. 2022, vol.35, n.51, pp.63-79.  Epub Dec 01, 2022. ISSN 0797-5538.  https://doi.org/10.26489/rvs.v35i51.3.

In the health emergency caused by COVID-19, the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in pedagogical proposals constituted the main strategy in Uruguay to enable the continuity of the educational trajectory of students of different cycles, ages, and backgrounds, promoting their inclusion. The article analyzes the aspects related to access to ICT and participation of the different educational actors to identify and understand how these technologies were used, with special emphasis on secondary education. To do this, data from the Survey of teachers on the Educational Situation in the context of the health emergency carried out by the National Council of Public Education in the year 2020 is used.
