The work analyzes the processes of autonomous regulation of the risk in the company’s production of important role of the Uruguay. Key security in this company culture is based on the knowledge of trade, which is formed through a set of implicit rules that regulate the process of formation and transmission of knowledge. The culture of nursing involves standards for the protection of workers from occupational hazards are not imposed from the address or headquarters that are built into the daily interaction of workers. In the context of the difficulties to build a joint regulation of security between the management of the company and the Union, the knowledge and experience of workers appear as the source of more effective safety regulation. However, this autonomous management is crossed by tensions and contradictions, inter-generational and sectorial, preventing construction of a labour reflectivity in this theme.
