This article seeks to problematize, from the perspective of several authors, the implications of the message used in various communication platforms, in the context of the Knowledge Society. The elements exposed in this paper indicate the need to meditate about the design and construction of citizenship within a context of peace, for a better approach to the reality of a country like Colombia. Thus, a theoretical framework is proposed to develop a communication that allows to generate social integration processes and, from the need to build peace scenarios, contribute to civic education
