GOALS

To encourage research, knowledge and learning in the process of developing scientific studies and to aim at lifelong medical education through the publication and dissemination of studies.

AREAS OF INTEREST

The RMU is a journal which addresses all areas of biomedical knowledge: clinical, specialties, general and educational.

HISTORY

The Revista Médica del Uruguay (RMU) was founded in August 1974.

Its publication was interrupted from 1976 to 1984. In November of 1985, the second era of the RMU was inaugurated and continues to be published without interruption.
