| The publication belongs to: Facultad de Agronomía, Universidad de la República, and Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agropecuaria (INIA) Mission Agrociencia Uruguay is a peer reviewed journal aimed at the scientific and academic community, and at professionals involved in agronomic activities. About us a. Agrociencia Uruguay is a biannual journal with editions in June and December. The journal publishes original articles, reviews and technical notes in agricultural sciences, plant and animal production, fertility, soil and water conservation, plant protection, genetic resources, ecology and environment, machinery, economics, sociology and agricultural production systems. The papers are evaluated by two reviewers external to the editorial board. b. Historical information. Agrociencia Uruguay published its first volume year 1997. Since 2002, we publish two volumes per year. From 2007 the journal is the joint publication of the School of Agronomy of the University of the Republic, and the National Agricultural Research Institute. c.
